  • A series of webinars have been delivered from 2020 and this platform has attracted a number of targets
  • SALGA SWC &WLDP 2021 Deliver a master class on Workplace Bullying
  • Sara Baartman District Municipality – Women’s Caucus
  • University of Pretoria, Faculty of Health Sciences: The impact of victimisation in creating safe and free working and learning environments.
  • Conducted a webinar for the International Office of Evaluation(IOE) on why the evaluation fraternity should care about workplace bullying

Strategic alignment

The strategic alignment interventions delivered by UPU include the following: 

  • Development and write up of a Stakeholder Map identifying engagement platforms for each category of stakeholders for the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS)
  • Developed DPSA Public Participation Strategy

  • Developed a Career Awareness Strategy for the Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries aiming to attract good math and science achievers to these fields
  • Conducted an employee satisfaction survey and develop interventions to deal with challenges commissioned by the Department of Economic Development & Tourism Kwazulu-Natal.

Gender mainstreaming and women empowerment

  • Department of Basic Education commissioned project on development and roll out of the Female Principal Support Network
  • Development of a Training Manual for Women in and into management positions in education commissioned by the Department of Basic Education and delivered train the trainer session across 7 provinces
  • Development of a Training Manual and delivered training for Women Managers in Education in KwaZulu Natal
  • Investigated factors impacting on Career choices of Girls in the Limpopo Province a project commissioned by the Department of Science & Technology
  • Conducted research on the State of gender in Gauteng
  • Delivered Human Capital Development Intervention aimed at achieving gender and disability equity for the Science and Technology Sector commissioned by DST

Training, Development and Capacity Building

  • Developed the DPME Evaluation Ethics Guideline and trained end users
  • Developed a DPME Guide for Conducting Sectoral Reviews and delivered training to provincial officials
  • Develop a DBE Guide for setting up and operationalising Female Principal Support Networks and delivered train the trainer sessions
  • Developed a Training Manual & Facilitator Guide for Youth in Corrections Centres and roll out train the trainer sessions – commissioned by DCS
  • Developed a Training Package & Facilitator Guide for Youth in Community Corrections commissioned by DCS
  • Developed a training package on how to recruit and fill a post at school level
  • Competency based recruitment for the National Department of Health
  • Competency based recruitment for the University of Zululand
  • Developed an HSRC Guide on mentoring budding academics
