UPU's COMMITMENT TO BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

UPU is 100% black and female owned. UPU uses, on a part time basis, highly skilled associates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, thereby advancing the agenda of Black Economic Empowerment.

UPU also offers opportunities to previously marginalized communities by engaging field workers from these communities, inter alia, contributing also to skills transfer and economic upliftment of immediate communities targeted by projects. We also engage interns as researchers, thereby enabling young recently qualified individuals from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to gain professional work experience

UPU has an impeccable record of timely delivery of quality products. UPU has been able to develop a network of individual professionals and has signed cooperation agreements with a number of consulting companies of similar interest. Before any project is undertaken, UPU constitutes a project team made of members with a distinguished track record in the substantive area of the project. The project team is always presented as part of the project implementation plan to demonstrate depth and appropriateness of skills in relation to each project.
